Go check out Reseda blvd. between Plummer and Parthenia on your bike this weekend – it’s scheduled for a significant upgrade as part of Mayor Garcetti’s Great Streets Initiative. The existing bike lanes will be replaced with protected bike lanes, also called cycle tracks. The street will be resurfaced to reflect the changes between now and April 14th, culminating with a walking tour of Reseda Blvd. just before Garcetti’s State of the City address at the Valley Performing Arts Center at CSUN. More details at Streetsblog.
We are so excited for CicLAvia to come to the valley on Sunday March 21st! We will have a Free bike maintenance booth at the Noho arts district hub, so stop by if you need a tube, some air, if you have a problem with your bike, or just to say hi 🙂 We will also have some sweet Bikery T-shirts and will be raffling off a brand new bike! See you there!!
